SubjectMate Australia Pty Ltd ("SubjectMate", "we", "us") operates the SubjectMate tutoring application. We are committed to protecting the privacy of children and families who use our service.

- Account information: name and email address of the parent/guardian
- Payment information (processed securely by Stripe — we never see your card details)
- Tutoring session content (questions asked and tutor responses) to provide the service
- Usage data such as subjects studied and session duration
3. How we use your information
We use collected information to:
- Provide and improve the tutoring service
- Process payments and manage subscriptions
- Send account-related emails (receipts, password resets)
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.
4. Children's privacy
SubjectMate is designed for use by children under parental supervision. Accounts are created and managed by parents or guardians. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent.
Tutoring conversations are processed by our AI technology provider on our behalf. This provider acts as a data processor under our instructions. Conversation data is not used to train AI models. Your data is stored securely in Australia where possible. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest.
